Lighthouse Food Bank

The Lighthouse Food Bank is a community food pantry that was recently acquired and is operated by Detroit Rescue Mission Ministries (DRMM). The Lighthouse has been helping struggling families and individuals since 1984.

In addition to emergency food services, the center offers help and hope to our neighbors who are in need through a variety of programs and services.

Our commitment is to never turn anyone away who is hungry and in need of help . . . but we rely on caring friends in our community to stock the pantry shelves. Thank you for giving generously, so hungry and frightened men, women, and entire families can get the help they need, when they need it!

As a community food pantry, we are helping those in Macomb County and surrounding areas who are in need. But we can only do so with the help of caring friends who give generously.

Detroit Rescue Mission Ministries

In 2014, Detroit Rescue Mission Ministries (DRMM) acquired the Lighthouse Outreach Center to expand its reach to feed the homeless and hungry in Macomb County.

Founded in 1909, the Detroit Rescue Mission Ministries provides services ranging from emergency shelter to job training. Every day, more than 1,800 men, women and children receive services from DRMM. Every year, one million meals are served to the homeless and hungry at DRMM’s facilities in Detroit and Highland Park. The non-profit organization is focused on rebuilding lives one at a time with the help of partners, donors, volunteers and community groups. For more information, visit www.drmm.org.
